AAU: A Modern University Rooted in Tradition
AAU opened its doors in 1990 and today offers a wide range of dually-accredited programs across three schools of study. Inspired by the liberal arts traditions of British and American Academia, the university is housed in the 18th century Thurn-Taxis Palace and is home to an international community that includes students from over 80 countries and a diverse, multinational faculty. The learning environment is intimate and interactive, with a focus on transfer of skills from the classroom to the real world, while internship opportunities abound, along with expert career guidance, comprehensive student support, 20+ student clubs, and more than 35 exchange destinations worldwide.

Prague, the “Golden City”, which serves as the all-important backdrop to the AAU experience, is widely considered one the most beautiful cities in Europe.
